高山に避暑ったら、やっぱりホシガラス：2017年《 # 2 》

[ Spotted Nutcracker of Japan #2 ]

Okay, at this post I update the capture of Spotted Nutcracker flying. That is not particularly difficult because their slowly flying. Present specification of D-SLR is a pretty good enough to capture the flying if I can catch them in the finder. BTW using CANON 1Dx markII.

#2は飛びモノ系(飛び出しも含む)です。カメラが進歩しても、私の腕ではあまりに近いのは撮れませんが…

ホシガラスは雛が巣立つとグループで採食場所を移動するので、タイミングを合わせて探せばオリジナルの撮影ができて楽しいです。

Though, I was confused about catching their nearly flying within around 10m. It's too close for photographing!

ラストは、松ぼっくりをひっくり返しながら最後の一粒を食べる様子を動画で紹介です。頭良さそうですw

This movie is the Nutcracker's pecking at a pine cone for eating nuts.

ホシガラスが特別好きな訳でも、それを主目的に行く訳でもないのですが、恒例行事的になっているので会えるとやっぱり嬉しいですね。

[ Spotted Nutcracker of Japan ]

Spotted Nutcracker is the resident bird of Japan and inhabited at highlands. They eat nuts of some pine cones. At this time of year, they form the flock with also juveniles just fledged and look for the pine cones.

毎年夏に行く高山地帯の温泉、例によって朝夕だけ周辺探索してホシガラス撮影です。今回初めて見つけたポイントは30羽ほどのグループの採食場でした。人間は私達二人だけで、360°方向ホシガラスが餌取りにやって来ます。(笑)

接近戦で撮れる鳥の代表の一つとは言え最短2mでは撮影不可w、殆どが5-15m程の撮影となると初めてでした。

We encountered the flock of about 30 population that never care for the ppl. They came closer within 5-15m and getting the seeds. What a nice circumstance to photograph them!

このポイントが残念なのは引きの写真が背景を含めて良くない事と、霧(雲の中?)で始終天候不安定な事でしょうか。でも枚数は撮れたのでもう一回の投稿を予定しています。

灯台下暗しのツミ営巣、そして雛でした

[ Japanese Sparrowhawk chick ]

Lesser sparrowhawk of Japan. Smaller than sparrowhawk and inhabiting the Far-east Asia in summer. It's a migratory bird of prey of the South-east Asia in winter. We found chicks being fed in the nest. Still white, so cute!

歩いて行けるご近所、営巣が遅れたツミの巣に雛がいてくれました。偶然お会いした地元のお友達に教えていただき、2回ほど楽しい時間を共有させていただきました。

カラスのちょっかいは見ていませんが、近くを飛ぶと親は猛烈に追い立てます。集団カラスの囮作戦が無い事を祈って、巣立ちを待ちたいと思います。

やっぱり白い子は可愛いですね。実は既に身体は茶色い幼鳥の羽が出ているので、写すのは白い頭だけですw　(最後の一枚にはこっそり三羽が確認できます)

ツミのお母さんの優しい表情が印象的です。

暑さ真っ盛りですが、体調に留意して楽しみたいですね。

ノビタキの巣立ち：2017年

[ Stonechat of Japan ]

Stonechat comes as summer migratory birds for nesting and feeding in Japan. At this time of year, Stonechat juveniles fledge at highlands and not care for people. The day visited at the highland, four juveniles were flitting about bush to bush. So good season for taking photos of them.

高原のノビタキに会いに行って来ました。霧ヶ峰のレンゲツツジに今年こそ行こうと言っていたkokotonPAPA、やっぱり有名撮影地には足が向かなかった様です。(笑)

でも高原は至る所にあるわけで、ここは観光客もカメラマンもいません。二人でゆっくりと探すと何ヶ所かでノビタキさんがとまっていますね。子育て中の1ヶ所と、雛が巣立っていたもう1ヶ所は楽しませてくれました。

Black and white body is male adult. Second one from the top looking like a juvenile, second one from the bottom still with a natal plumage.

四羽の巣立ち雛が、私達に御構い無しで飛び廻っていました。上は少し若風、下はまだ雛風ですね。

暑さでさえ清々しい高原、この日は地元のお友達の畑で出荷を前にした旬の高原野菜をいただいたり、ちょっとだけ草むしりの真似事をしたりと楽しい一日になりました。仕事の合間にこういう時間はとても大切ですね。　by kokotonMAMA

セッカは営巣準備で大忙しですね

[ Streaked fantail warbler ]

Streaked fantail warbler is called "SEKKA" in Japanese. Now they are under construction of nests. Male is flying above the territory and gathering the spiderweb that's nest stuff. Though so very busy, sometimes perching on a dead weed for resting. We captured them!

梅雨明け前とは思えない猛暑続きの中、朝から出かけてきました。♂はジッジッと鳴きながら縄張り上空を波状飛行し、雑草の中で蜘蛛の巣集めと目の前で巣作り。♀も優しい鳴き方で時折姿を見せてくれましたね。それでも朝から2.5時間が限界でした。＾＾;;

I'll answer the request for my photographing conditions. At that time in semi-backlight, every photos were just 5,000k WB, +0.3 exposure compensation Av and 7.1 F-stop in CANON EF800mm F5.6L IS USM.

山肌バックの半逆光(WBは5000K固定, Av+0.3補正)で待ちましたが、この子達は全く人を気にせずとても良い距離感にとまってくれました。次は雛の巣立ちくらいに行ってみたいと思います。
